Self Check-in
This is an explainer of the self check-in system.
Unfortunately I haven't written the explainer yet. In the meantime, here's an article on how to fix the windows computer numpad.
The Windows computer isn't logged in!
The password for the windows computer is 1234, so you should be able to enter it from the numpad without issue. That computer is quite old and will take several minutes to log in. This is normal. Once it logs in, open the check-ins app.
The Windows computer's numpad isn't working!
Fear not, for numlock is simply off. To fix this without plugging a keyboard in, do the following:
- Go to the station settings on the bottom right
- Press <thing>. The point of this is not to get help with it, but simply to bring up the windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
- Click the search bar. Ideally there should be a recent search for "on-screen keyboard". If so, skip the next step.
- If there was no recent search for on-screen keyboard, press the windows icon in the bottom left. Scroll through the available apps until you find on-screen keyboard.
- On the on-screen keyboard, there is a button called "numlock". Click it, and the on-screen keypad should turn into numbers.
- Voila, you've fixed the numpad. Close the on-screen keyboard and go back to check-ins.
